"Soryu-Emaki Chapter One: Oni of Scorching Heat, Unleashed! Flames of Burning Justice!"

Sōjin Shirakami, the degenerate monk descendant of a dragon god, used to lead a cozy life together with his father in a temple. 

One day, his father got fed up and told him: “go find someone to marry, or maybe go find some faith ー and don’t you dare come back until you do!” With those words he had disowned his son, booting him straight out of the temple. 

On his journey for redemption, Sōjin decides to work together with the tanuki, Mamesuke Wakaba, to solve cases where spirits are up to no good. 

For their first case, it seems that a fire demon known as Kaki has fueled the flames of conflict in town, and it’s up to the duo to put them out. 

Sōjin and Mamesuke head to Kaki’s hideout in the Himori Forest to teach him a lesson!
